Filipino volleyball fans in social media demanded and have been demanding for the ouster of Philippine women's volleyball head coach Jorge Souza de Brito, making the hashtag #OustDeBrito especially on X (formerly Twitter).
This came after the national team fell to host Vietnam, 25-14, 30-28, 25-22, in the opening of their SEA V.League Leg 2 campaign last Friday, August 8.
What a waste of talent. Poor management kept this trio off the court against the strong Vietnam team, despite them racking up awards and proving themselves.
