The New Orleans Pelicans have emerged as one of the teams that could potentially trade for Jordan Clarkson this summer. According to NBA Analysis Network's James Piercey, the Pelicans could offer fifth-year point guard Devonte Graham and a 2024 second-round pick to the Utah Jazz for the former Sixth Man of the Year awardee.
Clarkson's name has been buzzing around trade rumors recently as the Jazz broke up their team, dealing center Rudy Gobert to the Minnesota Timberwolves last July and trading guard Donovan Mitchell to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the beginning of this month.
Just last week, Utah shipped Bojan Bogdanovic to the Detroit Pistons for Kelly Olynyk and Saben Lee, signaling the team is indeed ready for a full rebuild.
With that it seemed like it's just a matter of time before Clarkson's number is called.
The Pelican Debrief's Drew Garrett said that Graham would be a suitable chip to pull off a Clarkson deal with the Jazz. The former Kansas City Jayhawk had shown flashes of brilliance last season, averaging 11.9 points, 4.2 assists, and 2.3 rebounds in 28.4 minutes per game.

In an interview with Complex, Clarkson said that he is “ready for whatever happens.”
“If I’m in a different jersey in a week or tomorrow I get a phone call and I have to put on whatever jersey it is, I’m just trying to win and take whatever team it is to the next level to hopefully win a championship one day,” added Clarkson.
Clarkson is also linked to his former team, the Los Angeles Lakers, as the Hollywood squad continues to be a potential trade destination for the Filipino-American sensation.
